Newsletter

The Site offers the User the opportunity to subscribe to newsletters. The newsletter provides the User periodically with information about That Knot Place services. To receive the newsletter, we require a valid email address. We will review the email address provided for the purpose of determining whether the User is, in fact, the owner of the email address provided or whether the actual owner of said address is authorised to receive the newsletter.

When subscribing to That Knot Place’s newsletter, your IP address, as well as the date and time of subscription, will be stored. This serves to protect us in the event a third party improperly and without our knowledge makes use of the User’s email address to subscribe to the newsletter.

We will not collect any other data. The data thereby collected is used solely for the purpose of receiving the newsletter. No data is transferred to third parties. USE OF PINTEREST

The site employs the services of pinterest.com. Pinterest.com is a service of Pinterest, Inc., 808 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Through the “Pin it“ button integrated into the Site, Pinterest is informed that the User has accessed that particular page of the Site. If the User is logged into Pinterest, Pinterest can associate the User’s visit to the Site with the User’s Pinterest account and thereby create a link to the data collected. Pinterest stores the data that is transferred through clicks on “Pin it“ buttons.

THE USE OF INSTAGRAM

That Knot Place promotes the service Instagram on the Site. Instagram is a service of Instagram Inc. By means of the integrated “Insta” button on the Site, Instagram receives the information that the User has accessed the corresponding page of the Site. If the User is logged into Instagram, Instagram may assign the visit to the Site to their Instagram account and link the data by this means. The data transmitted by clicking the “Insta” button is stored by Instagram.
